Trish’s Eatmore Bars

When I was little I always considered Eatmore Bars as one of my favourite chocolate bars. I loved the chewy texture and nuttiness. This recipe is a very easy way to put something yummy on the dessert plate.


  • pat of butter
  • 1 cup white corn syrup
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • ½ cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 2 cups peanuts, chopped


Melt butter, corn syrup and chocolate chips in a saucepan. remove from heat and add peanut butter, oatmeal and peanuts. Return to heat and soften for 1 minute while continuously stirring. Spread onto tinfoil lined cookie sheet, and col in fridge or freezer for about 45 minutes. Cut into little pieces.
